Rosston Eddy Marina welcomes The HLA Epitopes in Clinical Transplantation Conference, an international group of scientists who are meeting to address the characterization of antibody-defined HLA epitopes and their significance in compatibility testing for transplantation.

The scientists’ visit to Rosston Eddy Marina will include a boat tour of Allegheny River, Pool 6, aboard host boats captained by local boaters followed by a dinner on the esplanade catered by Pitzer’s Crooked Creek Inn. More than 75 scientists, from around the world, are expected to attend.

Marsha and Bill Dimmitt, Kittanning, PA, recently presented Chase McClister, Co-chairperson of the Arts on the Allegheny, with a check for $1630.00 on behalf of The Boaters at Rosston Eddy Marina. The donation is for the 2011 summer concert series as presented by Arts on the Allegheny at John P. Murtha Amphitheater, Riverfront Park, Kittanning, PA. Rosston Eddy Marina contributed matching funds as donated by its boaters.. McClister presented The Boaters and Lauren Chorney and Bill Knopp, co-owners of Rosston Eddy Marina, with plaques commemorating their donations.
