Moore Than Jacks. This team of 6 says it will take the prize
for Smells Like Team Spirit "hands (or whatever else can go)
down!" Rumor has it that they are importing a ringer from L.A.
and another from Altoona. The Altoona one has us worried.
The Winning Team. This ambitiously named team of 4 plans to
take 1st Prize. They may just be the team to watch. A
high-ranking team member has been quoted as saying that,
this year, they're planning on "doing everything."
Bish Outta Water. This team says that it is in the hunt just
for fun but we think they have their eyes on the prize.
Dynamic Duo. This 2 person team has the advantage of having
recently acquired a small boat that they plan to use to
complete the course--in record time. Can they do it? Latest
info is that the boat is in dry dock getting a new varnish job.
Will it dry by July?
Bildo's Bunch.Rumor has it that this bunch will do pretty much
anything to win. Name says it ALL. Watch out for the Bildos.
The Aquaholics. Not only does this team plan on taking the
prize for Most Team Spirit, they have enough members to do
whatever it takes to take 1st place. Watch for them sneakin'
outta the crick. Name says a lot, so remember, if you can't
beat 'em--join 'em!
Trophy Wives. Forget the housewives of Orange County,the
Trophy Wives of Armstrong County are on board this boat.
Husbands say that they are in it for the money but we're not
sure to whom they refer...
Six Pack. The boat may not run on beer but the team sure
can. These seasoned (or, shall we say, well marinated?)
boaters, are guaranteed to be one of the teams that are
likely to be having the most fun. CAUTION: may board other
boats if low on beer or just because they want to.
Rum Runners. Watch out for this team.They threw the
Wonder Broads overboard and went with the Rum Runner.
Hope they don't throw anything else overboard on their trip
down the crick.
Bubba's Buccaneers. Captain Bubba has a full crew, complete
with first mate, wenches and pirates. If the crew doesn't
mutiny, this may be the team to beat.
Crooked Patrol.This group is large is enough to pose a threat
to any team thinking of taking the prize for Most Team Spirit.
Team name sounds like they could be bought off, though.
Watch for them patrolling out of the creek.
King Chit. This group is cruisin' up from down south. Dew Drop
drinkers may be Inn the hunt for the big prize.
Fast & Dirty. Another team of southern boaters that think
they can take a prize. They couldn't decide on a name and
then went with what they knew.
Key West Drinking Team. This team of professionals will tell
you not to try this at home. We believe them. Best bet for
the gold in any drinking Olympics.
Uncle Eddie & The Grizwalds. We think these relatives may
have gotten outta the attic for this weekend. Watch out --
they have been known to put the "vacate!" in vacation.
Rood Awakening. This may be the sleeper team in the
Scavenger Hunt--slow to awaken but gaining momentum as
team members begin signing up.
B Ward. Last we heard, this captain was hunting for boat
parts. Scavenger Hunt should be a breeze after that.
Captain Peg Leg & His Brew Crew. Rumor has it that Captain
P. Leg and his team ARE THE TEAM to beat for Most Team
Spirit.
Nite-N-Day Crawlers. This team wormed in at the last
moment. Other mates may be crawlin' in. For sure, they'll be
crawlin' out.
Kung Fu Fighters. This is one BIG team comin' up from down
river. Lots of boats and people. Pool 6 may never be the same.
4 Floating Fools. This team is comin' up the river on a 6 Pack.
We'll see if it's full once it gets here.
Team O'Brien. We heard this boat had foreign imports on
board.We thought that they meant beer, not people. In any
case, welcome home!
Stewwoff. This team is howlin'up the river on Puppy Love.
We'll see if they are ready to play with the big dogs when
they get here.
